I am Here. I am Now.

I woke up this morning and thought I heard the sound of rain outside. I looked out the window to confirm that it was indeed raining on Christmas morning. The first line of this song popped into my head. I then spent a few minutes coming up with more lines. I got one stanza written. And then I listened to the original song and was later inspired to write another stanza.

I know that some of you readers celebrate Christmas. I hope this song (based on a song written by another Jew) is okay for all of you.
