I just got a call from my surgeon’s assistant and I am all set for a follow-up visit next Thursday to remove my sutures and the odd staple in the back of my head (apparently when they detached my head from the surgery table, the spot bled more than expected!).
Here’s a photo Phillip took of the staple. I circled it. (And yes, to any eagle-eyed observers: I know I have a red mark on the back of my ear! I have an annual exam with my dermatologist in December. So he’ll check it out.)

This song called “Rolling” by the group Soul Coughing just popped into my head after I made the appointment.
“I’m rolling, I’m rolling, I’m rolling, I’m rolling-a”

The album was released in 1998 (yes, I’m a 90s music gal).
It’s got a really great beat and I really feel like I’m rolling along my path towards healing and recovery. (Feel free to let me know if the groove moves you too 😊🤩)
Here’s me this morning!

I finally decided to be brave and put my cute little plastic flower clips in my hair.
The very intense layers of stiff hair gel are still in there but I am hopeful that I will eventually be able to free my hair from the confines of the hair products.
In the meantime I’m just rolling along. Moving and grooving through life and my days.
May you all have love and joy and peace in your days.
💜💜
