A friend attended the Billy Strings Halloween concert in Baltimore, Maryland on 10/31. She knew I’d done a post inspired by “Alive” by Pearl Jam (link).

Billy Strings did an amazing cover of “Alive” at that show and she shared this recording someone did at the show!!

Several friends attended his sold out show in Albany this past week and really enjoyed it (link to a recap video on YouTube). From glancing at his website, it looks like most of his tour is sold out (link). And at least the 2 shows I’m aware of were at large arenas.

I’d never even heard of him, but turns out he’s HUGE! Per Wikipedia (link), he “is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and bluegrass musician.” And he’s won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2021 and 2025.
